    Why is Victoria County conducting this survey?

    Victoria County is gathering feedback from residents to better understand how people access information about solid waste and recycling services and where improvements may be needed. 

    Who should complete the survey?

    The survey is open to: 

    • Year-round residents  

    • Seasonal residents  

    • Recreational property owners 

    Why are businesses not included?

    Business waste collection needs are different from residential services. This survey focuses on residential waste and recycling services only. 

    How long does the survey take?

    The survey takes approximately 5–10 minutes to complete. 

    How will the information be used?

    Survey results will help the Municipality improve communication, education and future planning for waste and recycling services. 

    Will survey results be shared publicly?

    Yes. Victoria County will share a summary of the survey results after the survey closes. 

    How can I complete the survey?

    Residents can complete the survey: 

    • Using a printed copy available at municipal facilities and recycling depots  

    When does the survey close?

    The survey closes on July 31, 2026. 

    What kind of questions are included?

    The survey asks about: 

    • How residents receive information  

    • Preferred communication methods  

    • Satisfaction with current information  

    • Understanding of waste and recycling rules  

    • Barriers to accessing information
