What is the Municipal Budget?

Each year, Council approves its municipal financial plan that funds local services, infrastructure and community priorities across Victoria County. Community feedback helps inform those decisions.

Tell us what matters most to you and help shape the 2026–27 Municipal Budget. Every individual living in a household can complete the survey.
The survey collects feedback in 3 main sections: Municipal Services, Municipal Priorities, and Levels of Service. There is an opportunity to provide additional comments. The estimated time to complete the survey is around 10-15 minutes.
UPDATE: The deadline to complete the survey has been extended to Friday, March 27, 2026.
Why Your Input Matters
Every year, Victoria County Council approves the municipal budget. To ensure it reflects community priorities, we are asking residents to share their feedback through the 2026–27 Municipal Budget Survey.

At the Municipal Administration Building (495 Chebucto Street, Baddeck)

Completed paper surveys can be returned to the Administration Building.
